You won't need to change your schedule to get a dose of Fallon.
If you've been following the current status of American night time talk shows with any degree of interest then you'd be aware that the legendary Jay Leno is hanging up the microphone and being replaced by Jimmy Fallon, currently hosting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Fallon fans will be pleased to hear that Foxtel's The Comedy Channel will be keeping him in the same timeslot of 11pm weeknights, so you won't have to change your schedule, despite the fact Fallon will be changing his.
The reason this means anything to us is because Fallon has continually commanded the finest musical guests of all the night time talk shows and it looks like this might continue. The Roots, who have been Fallon's house band since 2009, will be moving across with him to the new timeslot and the first program is going to feature U2 as the musical guest, which is quite a strong start we think you'll agree. Will Smith will also guest on the show.
Here's some of the musical tomfoolery Fallon and The Roots have given us in the past.
