Former Static-X bassist Andy The Kid has come a long way since moving from Australia to LA, and his return home in May will see a new single and supporting tour.
Born in Townsville, the rocker made his way to LA in 2008, and a few years later joined Static-X, eventually touring as Wayne Static’s bassist.
Now a key member of We Are The Riot, he has also launched his solo career, with the release of new single Cowboys Evolution (Rise Up), which is currently NRL team North Queensland Cowboys’ theme song.
Andy The Kid will play four Australian tour dates in support of the new track, kicking off at The Venue, Townsville on Friday 22 May.
The full album is looking to be released at the end of the year.
