Former and current Arch Enemy members form new band, Black Earth

Some of the old and current members of Sweden's Arch Enemy have started up a new band with a pretty metal moniker - Black Earth.

Some of the old and current members of Sweden's Arch Enemy have started up a new band with a pretty metal moniker - Black Earth.

This new/old band features guitarists Michael and Christopher Amott, vocalist Johan Liiva, drummer Daniel Erlandsson, as well as current Arch Enemy bassist, Sharlee D'Angelo.

The group takes their name from the first ever Arch Enemy record and will be playing material off the group's first three records - 'Black Earth', 'Stigmata', and 'Burning Bridges' -  as they begin to tour. It's unclear whether new material is in the works or not.
