Following producer Butch Vig’s observations, which affirmed the completion of Foo Fighters’ new studio album, the band has announced a release date for their eighth full-length.
‘Sonic Highways’ marks a follow-up to 2011’s ‘Wasting Light’.
"This album is instantly recognisable as a Foo Fighters record, but there's something deeper and more musical to it. I think that these cities and these people influenced us to stretch out and explore new territory, without losing our ‘sound',” Dave Grohl says.
‘Sonic Highways’ is due out November 10 via Roswell Records/Sony Music Australia.
You can pre-order the album via JB H-Fi and Sanity.
