Fontaines D.C. Reveal 2025 Australian Tour Dates

Fontaines D.C. aren’t just coming to Australia for Golden Plains festival in March 2025, today announcing a massive national tour.

Beginning their tour in Japan in February, the Irish rockers land in Australia for Perth Festival on Thursday, 27 February, before heading to Brisbane’s Riverstage on Saturday, 1 March, Wollongong’s Yours & Owls festival on Sunday, 2 March, the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Thursday, 6 March, the Palace Foreshore in Melbourne on Saturday, 8 March, and wrap up the Australian dates at Golden Plains festival in Meredith on Sunday, 9 March. They’ll then perform at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Wednesday, 12 March.

The band will be joined by special guests Wunderhorse – a buzzy rock band out of the UK – on all dates aside from Yours & Owls and Golden Plains.

Promoter pre-sale tickets will be available from next Wednesday, 30 October, at 9 am AEDT – you can sign up here to access those tickets. The general sale begins on Thursday, 31 October, at 9 am AEDT via the band’s website and Handsome Tours.

Fontaines D.C. are touring Australia following the release of their fourth album, Romance, released earlier this year.

In a review of their performance at Laneway Festival 2023, The Music’s David James Young wrote: “Though they're not the scrappy upstarts of Dogrel anymore, that also means they're a well-oiled precision machine after returning to the road throughout 2021 and 2022 – as exemplified by the thrashing Nabokov and the baggy bass chug of Televised Mind.
