FKA Twigs Announces Debut Album 'LP1'

London musician FKA twigs has announced details of her highly anticipated debut album, LP1.

London girl Tahliah Barnett is a singer, songwriter, dancer and video director; and is known widely for her work under the name of FKA twigs. Teasing us with two four-track EPs over the past couple of years, the artist has just informed of us her forthcoming debut album!

Following the trend of her previous releases, the title of the record is simply just LP1, and houses ten brand new tracks that are yet to be released to the public. What you will find familiar though is not only the talented production and ethereal delivery of FKA twigs' craft, but also the style of art present as visual artist Jesse Kanda has teamed up with the musician [again] to personalise the album cover for LP1.

Using facial manipulation to place emphasis and add surreality, you may remember Kanda's work from FKA twigs' video clip 'Water Me' (he also crafted the visuals for 'How's That').

A record we've been waiting on for quite some time now, FKA twigs' LP1 will be available for digital and physical purchase on Tuesday, 12th August via Young Turks; right before the conclusion of her North American tour. Pre-order LP1 HERE.
