The first venues have implemented theMusic.com.au's new Gig Guide App into their Facebook accounts this week.
Announced a week ago, the Facebook app is a venue-specific version of theMusic.com.au's Gig Guide, the most comprehensive contemporary music gig guide in Australia. Continuously updated by theMusic's team of editors, the Facebook app plug-in means that venues don't need to spend time updating their listings.
Melbourne venues The Evelyn Hotel and The Tote are the first two to adopt the app.
As with the website version of The Guide, punters will be able to go direct to ticket purchases and easily add the event to their calendars. They can also search by specific artist or date range.
