Composer to be in attendance.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy, it has been announced that a live concert event will hit Sydney this year featuring music from the iconic video game.
The man behind the music of Final Fantasy and celebrated composer, Nobuo Uematsu, will be in attendance for the July show which will feature a full symphony orchestra conducted by Grammy Award-winner, Arnie Roth.
With the first Final Fantasy concert premiering in 2002 in Japan, the concept has toured the world, with the upcoming production including music from all of the games, as well as new scores and arrangements created specifically for these shows.
Tickets for the Sydney concert, taking place at the new International Convention Centre on 1 July, go on sale on Thursday, 16 February.
