Field Day Announces 2025 Lineup
Field Day is going 100% dance with RL Grime, Chase & Status, Sam Alfred, horsegiirL and more spearheading the sounds of the New Year.

Sydney’s cherished New Year’s Day festival Field Day is ringing in 2025 with a hot, freshly announced lineup of 100% dance music and it’s looking to be a rager.
In August, organisers started teasing updates about the forthcoming festival with advice to “stay tuned”. What followed was a more direct hint in the form of a post to the official Field Day Instagram account, which insinuated a “100% electronic” lineup.
Soon after, Field Day advertisements around Sydney began to pop up with “At Least DJs Don’t Cancel, Field Day, 100% Dance 2025” written on them – seemingly as a swipe to hip-hop, R&B, and reggae-focused festivals Listen Out and Promiseland, who had some of its major acts pull out days before the festival was scheduled to take place.

Promising 100% house, techno, drum & bass, electronic and dance music, the lineup slated for Field Day 2025 does not disappoint.
English electronic trailblazers Chase & Status are one of many hard-hitting headliners, popular for major hits Pieces with Plan B and Against All Odds with Kano. Germany’s horsegiirL – who went viral for her track My Barn My Rules – will be making a return to Australian shores, as well as trap and bass producer RL Grime, Jersey Club and UK funky DJ Jyoty, and a special back-to-back DJ set by Perth electronic rockers Pendulum and electronic dance music producer Luude.
In a press release, Field Day promoters noted that the decision to go 100% dance was a matter of “going back to our roots”, easing financial strain for their devoted fans by pricing tickets reasonably cheaper than previous years.
“We want to make it as easy for people to have fun, celebrate the new year and get back to the dancefloor and are pleased to offer starting tickets $50 cheaper than last year,” they wrote. “We hope to see you there spreading love and positive vibes”.
Field Day 2025 is happening on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 at The Domain. Tickets go on sale at noon AEDT on Thursday 24th of October 2024, with first release starting at $142 + booking fee. Grab your tickets here and peep the full lineup below.
