"It’s been a long time coming.”
Sydney singer-songwriter Fergus James has announced a string of live shows set to take place this October to celebrate the release of his brand new single, Backseat.
James will hit up Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Wollongong to launch the new track which premiered on triple j earlier this week.
The artist described the new tune as "touching on the nostalgia of what we had and the uncertainty of what was to come.”
He added: “Backseat juggles between the tension of having to let someone go, whilst hoping to hold on to all the meaningfulness and history that you can never keep. The song is not only a personal story of loss and change but is also the beginning of a chapter in my artistic life that feels like it’s been a long time coming.”
James has toured with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Missy Higgins, and has been described live as "talented beyond his years."
