The acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter will be bringing a full band along for the ride.
Beloved songstress Feist is returning to Australia for her first shows in five years with an east-coast tour in support of her new album, Pleasure.
Bringing a full band in tow, Feist will play Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this November and December, highlighting the material from her fifth studio full-length (and first in six years) along with the rest of her decades-spanning back catalogue as she reacquaints herself with her Australian fans.
Now a decade on from the breakthrough success that was her Grammy-nominated, Juno Award-winning third LP, The Reminder — and her international hit 1234, Feist has come back from her half-decade sabbatical with a vengeance, not only unveiling Pleasure (which has already yielded two singles, including one co-written with Jarvis Cocker) but featuring once more in a prominent position as part of Canadian indie mega-group Broken Social Scene, recording her first lead vocals for the band in over a decade on their lauded new album, Hug Of Thunder.
With so much activity and acclaim once again surrounding her every move, it's an extremely safe bet that Feist will be putting on a run of shows to remember when she touches down once more on Australian shores.
