The 2025 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix is only a month away, so today, organisers announced who will perform over three days at the picturesque Albert Park, Melbourne.
Presented by Crown, the Lakeside Festival will host live music from Friday, 14 March, to Sunday, 16 March (race day).
On Friday, punters won’t only get to see the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Oscar Piastri go for their practice laps on the track, but they’ll also get to watch Australian rock royalty perform live on stage. The Living End and Spiderbait will bring the energy with bangers, including Prisoner Of Society and Black Betty.
Dance Monkey star Tones And I will lead the Saturday line-up as the drivers set their qualifying times for the big day, where she’ll be joined by six-time ARIA Award winner, Yolngu sensation Baker Boy.
Sunday will be led by none other than Fatboy Slim. Promising a DJ set of epic proportions for race day, the English musician will perform a blend of his own hits, from Right Here Right Now and Praise You to his current single Bus Stop Please. He won’t be performing alone on Sunday, though: Australian-born, LA-based DJ, songwriter and producer Anna Lunoe will also perform on the day.
Limited tickets remain for Thursday, 13 March, and Friday, 14 March. According to an email sent to Formula 1 subscribers, live music is automatically included for ticketholders attending the Australian Grand Prix. You can find the final tickets for the racing event here.
