Farnham's 76th Show At QCU Arena Will Be One Of The Venue's Last

Farnsie is that latest to farewell Qantas Credit Union Arena

More John Farnham John Farnham Profile

It'll be Elton John who will officially be the last performer to present a concert at the Qantas Credit Union Arena, formerly the Sydney Entertainment Centre, but John Farnham will be saying goodbye to the venue in his own inimitable way for one night only in December.

Farnham actually holds the record for the most performances by an Australian artist in the venue. Including this farewell, it'll be 76, counting not only his own 40 shows there, but also combined performances with Olivia Newton-John and his starring role in Jesus Christ Superstar: The Arena Tour, back in 1992.

Joining Farnham on the night are Daryl Braithwaite and Ross Wilson of Daddy Cool/Mondo Rock fame with his new band, The Peaceniks.

Farnham is having a massive 2015 having already topped the ARIA Albums Chart with his Two Strong Hearts collaborator with Newton-John.
