Three Tasmanian bands have been added to the Marion Bay leg of Falls Music & Arts Festival, after being successful in the event's Foster Band project.
The project saw local media outlets sponsor and promote one artist, who would be in with a chance to perform at the festival. The public voted for their favourites and here they are:
The Middle Names (fostered by Togatus)
The Habits (fostered by The Advocate)
Lulu And The Paige-Turners (fostered by The Mercury)
The festival have also added triple j Unearthed artists Meg Mac, The Kite String Tangle and Chase City to Lorne, Byron Bay and Marion Bay respectively.
