EXCLUSIVE: Dan Sultan Covers A Gillian Welch Classic

A few months back we asked readers to vote for the track they'd like to hear Dan Sultan do a cover of. 

While there were a lot of great options (looking at your Kylie Minogue's Confide In Me) but ultimately it was the Gillian Welch classic, Look At Miss Ohio, from her 2003 album Soul Journey that won out. Check out Sultan's version below. 

"Gillian Welch has always been one of my favourite artists from when I first saw the clip to Elvis Presley Blues when I was a late teen and '...Miss Ohio' is one of my all time favourite songs to sing and listen to," shares Sultan. 

"It's an honour to do my rendition and I hope she gets to hear it one day."

Sultan's hitting the road this month in celebration of his forthcoming album, Aviary Takes, a collection of exisiting back catalogue tracks, as well as a few new tracks and covers to be recorded at Melbourne's The Aviary Studios.
