West Australian grunge punk outfit The Love Junkies have signed a deal with New World Artists after showcasing at BIGSOUND last week.
TheMusic.com.au can reveal the trio have joined a roster that includes British India, Grinspoon and Thy Art Is Murder and the agency's Owen Orford said today, “These guys have one of the most explosive live sets we've seen from a young band in a while."
They performed at a Western Australian showcase and a BIGSOUND Live set.
The band's co-manager Matt Johnson added, “It's been a huge year for The Love Junkies with the release of their first album and the single Baby Come Home getting a lot of love from triple j.”
He added, “The dedication of New World Artists to all things live music gives us the perfect platform to keep assaulting the ears of punters from.”
In Western Australia the band are booked by Sweet Mate's Luke Rinaldi. They are currently unsigned.
