EXCLUSIVE: The Kite String Tangle, Delta Riggs Join Unified’s Management Arm

Brisbane producer The Kite String Tangle and Gold Coast via Melbourne blues rock band The Delta Riggs have both joined WAU Management, an arm of Unified, theMusic.com.au can reveal.

The Kite String Tangle – aka Danny Harley – will now be managed by Unified CEO Jaddan Comerford and Head Of Management Nick Yates, after spending the latter half of 2014 searching for a new management deal. Comerford and Yates are currently managing the careers of Vance Joy and Violent Soho, amongst others, between them.

It is understood that Harley had conversations with at least one other of the country's top management companies last year.

The Delta Riggs will continue to be managed by Jeremy Stones, who has joined the new Unified office in Sydney’s Woolloomooloo. He brings the band across to the WAU stable ahead of their upcoming Foo Fighters support slots. They released the album Dipz Zebazios last year.

Speaking on their newest signing Yates said, “We're all very excited to add The Kite String Tangle to our management roster. Danny is an amazingly talented artist and one that we've had our eyes on for quite a while, we're looking forward to being able to help him continue to develop both here and overseas.”

Harley released The Kite String Tangle EP Vessel last year, which debuted in the ARIA Chart Top Ten. His track Given The Chance was a top 20 entry into last year’s tiple j Hottest 100.

The WAU Management roster also includes The Amity Affliction, Remi, Northlane, Illy, Bodyjar, Deez Nuts, In Hearts Wake, Montgomery and others. Managers include Comerford, Yates Luke Logemann, Rachael Tulloch, Caleb Williams, Narayan Wallace, Julian Marshall and Aidan and Rhett McLaren and now Stones.
