Massive deals in the US and Australia have been announced this afternoon.
Sydney-based indie folk duo The Falls have been making a name for themselves slowly but surely in the Australian scene over the past year or so and it looks like things might take something of a bigger leap as we announce today that they have signed pretty massive international management and booking deals in the United States as well as a booking deal at home.
Firstly the band are the latest addition to the Artist Voice roster in their home country, joining the likes of Matt Corby, Chet Faker and Angus & Julia Stone.
The duo showcased at SxSW earlier this year and must have turned some heads, because they are now to be represented by Evan Winiker at The Creed Co (who look after Bruno Mars) as their US manager.
“I knew from the moment I first saw them in Austin that I had to be a part of the team,” Winiker said in a statement issued today.

They will now have their bookings in the United States taken care of by Jefferey Azoff and Lee Goforth at Creative Artists Agency.
Azoff and Goforth are young rising stars at CAA and between them they look after acts like The Eagles, Journey and Brittany Spears. The former is also the son of music industry mogul, former Live Nation boss and big fan of Delta Goodrem Irving Azoff.
The band are currently working on new material for their next release.
