EXCLUSIVE: Texas Tea Announce New Album, Tour, Video

The Brisbane country darlings are heading out on the road in support of their Sad Summer Hits.

Sad Summer Hits is the name of the third LP from Brisbane country duo Texas Tea and this afternoon they announce its release date, the tour on which they will embark on the back of it and give us an exclusive look at the very quaint video in support of their tune Heart Says Yes (Head Says No).

It has been four years since the band's last record Take A Sip and for this new record they have opted to employ a bassist and drummer to fully flesh out their songs. Recorded with Magoo at his Applewood Studios, the album is a collection of three years of songwriting, which the duo sifted through and catalogued thematically when settling on a tracklist.

Sad Summer Hits will be released through Mere Noise Records on Friday 12 October and the band will head out on the road in support of it very soon after.
