EXCLUSIVE: Sydney's Borneo Sign To Habit's Record Label & Publishing Company

Sydney outfit Borneo have today announced they have signed with Habit's record label and publishing company, to coincide with the release of brand new single, Boyfriend.

Habit's new publishing company is to be sub-published by Gaga Music Publishing.

"Borneo have to be one of the best live bands going around, and when the opportunity came up to work with them, we jumped at it," Habit owner, Nick Lynagh, said. 

Meanwhile, the band said of the signing, "We're extremely grateful to Nick and the Habit team for taking a punt on the band and inviting us to join the label. Muchas gratitude!"

Borneo's new track tackles the harsh reality of divorce and is written from the perspective of a child as he watches his divorced mother attempt to find new love.

The single has been delivered today with an accompanying music video and has been lifted from their forthcoming debut EP, Alert, due out on 12 May. Check it out below.

And just to help sweeten the deal, Borneo will embark on an east coast tour shortly after the EP release.
