His first release through Ivy League
New South Welshman Steve Smyth has a brand new single out titled Shake It and you can stream the track exclusively here on theMusic.com.au.
Shake It is a jangly, bluesy rock anthem that also features the work of Atoms For Peace and sometime Beck drummer Joey Waronker and The Black Keys and Norah Jones collaborator Gus Seyffert on bass. The track was recorded during Smyth's recent stay in Echo Park, near the Hollywood Hills. Listen to it below:
The track is Smyth's first release release through his new label home of Ivy League Records. The deal will see the singer-songwriter unveil his debut solo album later this year.
