Hear this remarkable collection of music now
The early music of acclaimed singer-songwriter Archie Roach is set to be re-issued this week, along with some of his previously unreleased work as part of his new compilation album Creation. Fans of this remarkable Aussie icon don't have to wait until Friday though to hear the collection as it's now streaming exclusively on theMusic.com.au.
The compilation features remastered versions of Roach's first four LPs, over a dozen unreleased bonus songs plus deluxe packaging that includes detailed linear notes, commentary from Paul Kelly and other producers who have worked with the musician and to top it off, unseen images by photographer and former Mushroom art director Pierre Baroni.
The release of this collection will coincide with Roach's performance at this weekend's inaugural Boomerang Festival this weekend, where he will debut his new live show, also named Creation.
