Death From Above 1979 singer and drummer Sebastien Grainger will release a new solo album titled Yours To Discover tomorrow, but as a little treat, we have one of the record's tracks for you to listen to now.

Waking Up Dead is the second song on the LP and it's a loose, fun and easy-on-the-ears jam that is the perfect blend of rock and pop.

Listen to the song here.

Grainger and his Death From Above 1979 partner Jesse F. Keeler have only released the one full-length record to date, 2004's You're A Woman, I'm A Machine back in 2004 but gained somewhat of a cult following throughout their career, which included a break-up in '06 and subsequent reunion a few years later. A second album is said to be in the works.

His new material will officially drop tomorrow via Last Gang/Cooking Vinyl.
