He's back in business.
Sydney based artist Richard Cuthbert is back in town and rejuvenated from a bit of time spent in Berlin riding around the streets and playing his songs to new people. So it seems fitting that he starts afresh with new management as he works on his second solo LP.
Today we can reveal that Cuthbert has signed with Nathan Farrell Management, Farrell admitting that the signing is somewhat out of leftfield, but something he is incredibly pleased about.
“We are thrilled to welcome Richard to the roster,” he said in a statement today. “Whilst this is a slightly different kind of signing for us, we have been long term fans of his and look forward to working closely with him to see the full breadth of his talent and repertoire develop.”
You might know Cuthbert from his band Cuthbert & The Nightwalkers (who have been on hiatus for a couple of years now), or his country group The Green Mohair Suits (whose third LP will be out real soon), or his debut solo LP, 2012's Adventure Bay Rock, which is being released through iTunes for the first time on Friday 13 September with a bonus extra track.

Cuthbert will have his second solo LP, which he is currently working on, ready for release at the end of the year. Watch this space.
