PVTCreate/Control have signed experimental rock outfit PVT and Perth indie-blues outfit The Chemist.
PVT (formerly Pivot) have spend a lot of time outside of the country recently, after becoming the first Aussie outfit to sign to Warp. Following on from breakout O Soundtrack My Heart (2008) and Church With No Magic (2010), their fourth album is due for release in early 2013. They have already released first single Shiver.
The Chemist have also joined the label in a deal which sees Create/Control partner with Dirt Diamonds, with the band finalising their debut album Ballet In The Badlands.
Create/Control's roster also includes The Smashing Pumpkins, Metric, Velociraptor, The Jungle Giants and Opossum.
