Sydney-based duo PLGRMS, aka singer-songwriter Jacob Pearson and multi-instrumentalist songwriter/producer Jonathan Bowden, have released a “haunting” new rendition of their acclaimed single Daylight.

Focusing more on Pearson’s vocals, the stripped-back live acoustic version was filmed at Golden Retriever Studios in Sydney and adds more depth to the song’s lyrics and melodies.

"We really wanted to do a more stripped back version of Daylight and for me, this version just shines a real light on the beauty and vulnerability of Jake's vocals," Bowden told The Music.

Taken from a forthcoming EP, Daylight was originally released in late April and has already surpassed 150,000 streams on Spotify.
