EXCLUSIVE: Pepa Knight Reveals Debut EP Details + Tour Dates

The co-frontman of Sydney-bred Afropop outfit Jinja Safari, Pepa Knight, is branching out on his own, announcing today the release details for his forthcoming debut EP as well as a string of dates to show off his wares from next month.

Far from relying on the reputation he's garnered as part of Jinja Safari, Knight is taking no shortcuts in asserting himself as an entirely distinct solo prospect, with strong early efforts such as Clams and Rahh! giving critics abundant reasons to start rubbing their hands together greedily at the prospect of the impending extended player.

If those tasty treats are of a flavour agreeable to your ears, then you'll be keen to know that the talented Mr Knight will set off on his Hypnotized tour from Sunday, November 9, when he hits Sydney's Newtown Social Club. From there, he'll head to Melbourne, Newcastle, Gosford and Brisbane before the month is out.
