Cosmic Psychos, Bob Log III, Chinese Burns and SixFtHick are among the bands contributing to the collection.
Renowned Brisbane garage rock label Mere Noise Records have today announced that they are celebrating their tenth anniversary in 2013 by putting together a series of 7-inch singles from some of the bands who have helped make the label what it is today. These singles, which will be issued monthly, will be offered in very limited numbers to fans on a subscription basis.
The label, which over the years has released records from Brisbane acts Vegas Kings, Texas Tea, Undead Apes, Tiny Migrants, Keep On Dancin's, The Horrortones and many, many more, will issue 12 strictly physical vinyl singles throughout 2013; that means no download codes!
The first of the split singles is a mighty one, featuring Hoon, a track from Aussie garage rock legends Cosmic Psychos as well as Big Black Car, a live favourite, but as yet unreleased track from one of the bigger Mere Noise success stories, Brisbane reprobates HITS.
The label aren't willing to let all of the bands they have signed up out of the bag as yet, but we can reveal that singles from the likes of Bob Log III (USA), Tiny Migrants, Mad Macka, Chinese Burns, SixFtHick and Head On (France) will be released at some stage throughout 2013.
