In what is the final part of the exclusive Becoming One video series by L-FRESH The LION ahead of the release of his new album BECOME, the emcee chats about the importance of celebrating those around you who build you up and make your path brighter, especially when you're going through the unpredictability of life.

"We don't hear about teams enough. Artists, especially solo artists, don't exist on their own. Sure, we all have individual journeys, but it takes a team to make an artist's career happen. I'm grateful to have such an amazing team of people around me.

Everybody comes into your life for a purpose. They contribute to the story that is your life.

For me, this new album is, in many ways, a celebration of all the people who've played a part in my story.

Each song on the record (BECOME) is personal. There are moments where I reveal my greatest insecurities. And there also moments where I highlight strength, resilience and power.

Every step of the way, there has been people around me who helped create those moments. And though the record explores my journey of becoming the best person I can be, I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate everybody who has contributed to my journey so far.

Team work makes the dream work. It may be a cliche. But it's real.
