EXCLUSIVE: Katy Steele Signs Management Deal With Mucho Bravado

Perth-based singer-songwriter Katy Steele continues to shine the light on her solo efforts, signing a management deal with Mucho Bravado.

The news comes at an exciting time in Steele’s career as she puts the final touches on her highly-anticipated debut solo release, which will no doubt be detailed soon.

The Little Birdy vocalist graced the cover of The Music Perth back in May, and will head to Brisbane next month to perform BIGSOUND and Mucho Bravado's 'The Night Before BIGSOUND' pre-party.

Also confirmed to perform at the event include I Know Leopard, WAAX, Ayla, Lanks and Machine Age, as well as DJ sets from Rolls Bayce, Babaganouj and Born Joy Dead - it all goes down at The Foundry on Tuesday 8 September, for more details click here. 

Mucho Bravado’s Ben Preece said the signing was an exciting opportunity for both parties to push a new image for Steele.

"Katy is an incredible talent, there's absolutely no doubt about that, and this new phase shouldn't be seen as a continuation of the old one, rather the emergence of a brand new one,” Preece said.

“We're treating this like a brand new project that just happens to have a legacy of 10 years or more. She's utterly remarkable."
