Gold Cost based singer-songwriter Montgomery has signed with the I OH YOU record label ahead of the release of her debut EP.
The little-known artist, who signed a management deal with Unified after just two demos, has been keeping a cryptically-low profile ahead of her emergence onto the scene, and her EP New Clear War will be released Friday 24 October.
The six-track record was co-produced by herself and Tom Iansek of Big Scary.
Her signing will be announced later today.
The first taste of the EP is a Casper-themed fan-made video by Noel Smyth for the first single War Cry, which you can hear below.
Montgomery is the second I OH YOU signing for 2014 after the Mushroom imprint, which is run by Johann Ponniah, picked up Sydney trio DMA’s in February. The label also has Violent Soho, DZ Deathrays, Snakadaktal, City Calm Down and Bleeding Knees Club on its roster.
