Renowned label winds up
The label that released Savage Garden and Killing Heidi, Roadshow Music, is winding up this month.
As of May, the renowned imprint's label manager, Katrina Ross, no longer works for Village Roadshow. A representative for the company confirmed that the division had wound-up and theMusic.com.au is awaiting comment from Managing Director Chris Chard.
A social media post from Ross also indicates that Roadshow Music has “ceased operations” this month.
Distributed by Sony, the label was founded in 1994 and found success with the likes of Savage Garden and Killing Heidi. Recently the roster had included The Butterfly Effect, Hamish & Andy, Jade MacRae, Axle Whitehead and KSSR.
