Amanda Moran to move from the Sydney Fringe
The Harvest Festival has appointed a new Arts Director, with Amanda Moran stepping into the role ahead of the 2013 events.
Moran, who will leave her role as the Business Manager of the Sydney Fringe to join the festival team, will be in charge of developing the arts component of Harvest. Promoter AJ Maddah has put a big emphasis on the arts component of the festival, which debuted in 2011, with installations a focus of the festival grounds.
This year's event has yet to announce much, but cult indie outfit Neutral Milk Hotel leaked their involvement on the bill and the festival's dates. Heavily rumoured The Cure will not be playing, Maddah has confirmed.
Moran has also worked at Century Venues, Moonlight Cinema, the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the NSW State Government previously.
