They've just signed to Cooking Vinyl Australia too
Off the back of the massive news that Melbourne quartet Ceres recently signed to Cooking Vinyl Australia, the punks have unveiled more good news — they've also signed a deal with booking agents New World Artists.
The signing is timely considering the band are gearing up to drop their second record Drag It Down On You this September, with a sold-out show already lined up this Friday at Fitzroy's Workers Club.
Ceres' singer Tom Lanyon tells theMusic.com.au, "We met Tom [Johannesen] from NWA at the Gaso for a cool, crisp Melbourne Bitter and a chat about the D.I.Y. roof fixing on his rental house, and the D.I.Y. shows we’ve played in the past. Seemed like a great fit. He’s been fixing stuff for us ever since. Hyped to see what we can do together."
The band will be joining Northlane, Tired Lion and British India at New World Artists.
