EXCLUSIVE: APES Sign Publishing Deal With Native Tongue

The deal has been sealed on the BIGSOUND grounds today.

More Apes Apes

Local independent music publisher Native Tongue have announced the signing of Melbourne garage rock band APES to an international publishing deal.

We were on ground at BIGSOUND today as the signing was officially sealed, just a few hours before the band take the stage at the 10 Years Of Native Tongue gig tonight.

The moment it all went down.

This is the second big signing for the buzz band in the last month — they penned a UK booking deal with 13 Artists in late August.

The quartet released their debut single Seven last year, garnering plenty of love from triple j and even breaking overseas, with airplay from BBC Radio 1. Their new single Pull The Trigger is out now.

APES are playing a bunch of shows over the coming months, including a couple of festival appearances around the country so be sure to check out theGuide and The Music App for more details.

APES are booked locally by Select Music and managed by Lachlan Hodgson for Trusty Chords Music.
