SleepmakeswavesARIA-nominated Sydney post-rock outfit Sleepmakeswaves will – in January – release a remixed edition of their breakout record …and so we destroyed everything, with knob-twiddling from 65daysofstatic, Rosetta, Kyson and more.
Titled …and then they remixed everything, the album will be released Thursday 17 January through Bird's Robe Records – just following the four-piece's supporting slots for the like-minded English post-rock veterans, 65daysofstatic.
Kind of fitting then that we have the exclusive premiere of the English band's contribution to the album – a remix of Our Time Is Short But Your Watch Is Slow. Brooding and ominous, your can listen to it below:
You can pre-order the album here, and catch both bands at the following dates:
Wednesday 2 January – The Hi-Fi, Sydney Tickets
Thursday 3 January – The Hi-Fi, Brisbane Tickets
Friday 4 January – The Corner Hotel, Melbourne Tickets
Saturday 5 January – The Bakery, Perth Tickets
65daysofstatic will also be playing the Peats Ridge festival.
