You know you've made it when the POTUS is on board.
We know that Melbourne artist Courtney Barnett is a big deal both at home and internationally but if you ever needed more proof of how popular she really is, just ask the President of the United States what he thinks about the singer.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, President Barack Obama shared his summer playlist picks which feature a number of big names like Prince, Jay Z, Beach Boys, Janelle Monáe and, oh yeah, Courtney Barnett.
Turns out the POTUS is a big fan of Barnett's hit single Elevator Operator off her 2015 debut album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit.
The moral of this story is you're probably doing OK for yourself when the freaking President of the United States is on board.
