Etcetc Nabs New Head From Ministry Of Sound Ranks

Sydney label appoints Aden Mullens

Independent label etcetc has appointed Aden Mullens into the newly-created role of Head Of etcetc, which will see him step up from his role at Ministry Of Sound.

Mullens recently spent seven years as the A&R/Compilations Manager for MOS, of which etcetc is a part of – alongside Astrx, Downright and Hussle. Universal Music Group distributes the releases.

“I'm thrilled about my appointment with etcetc, particularly at such an exciting time for Australian music around the world,” Mullens said. “Etcetc is an agile indie label supported by the leading international major, Universal Music Group. I'll be employing this combined label strength to deliver results for our artists on a global scale.”

This year etcetc plans to release PNAU's fifth album and EPs from Aussie Kilter and UK producer Youan, while they'll also be introducing “priority project” Flavored Nations in July. The latter features Morgan Phalen (Justice, Phenomenal Handclap Band), James Curd (DFA, Exploited) and Surahn Sidhu (Empire of the Sun, The Swiss).
