Ice On The Dune has a rough second week on the US charts.
After a sterling debut in the top 20 of the Billboard charts last week, Empire Of The Sun have now plummeted to 90th position in the second week of release for their Ice On The Dune LP.
The band, who were yesterday announced as one of the acts taking part in the 2013 instalment of the Stereosonic festival across the country, hit the US top 20 after scoring third place in their home country of Australia upon release a few weeks ago.
The album just managed to stay inside the ARIA top 10 this week, but has fallen 70 spots in the US to only just hold on to a spot in the 100 bestselling albums of the week.
It was bad news for all Antipodean artists though, as New Zealand starlet Lorde continues to rise and rise all over the planet, including in the world's most notoriously tough market; her The Love Club EP spends its third week in the Billboard 200 in its highest position yet. The EP now sits at number 86 on the chart, continuing a run up the chart after sitting in 104th spot last week.
