Emerging musicians, MCs and beatmakers will showcase at free Melbourne event Platform 2020 this weekend.
Taking place at Penrose Promenade Community Centre on Saturday evening, the Tarneit event will feature AS1, Tebir, PANIA and Ag Johnson, with Platform also inviting patrons down to have their say on what its new music program should look like.
“We want our youth to come and give their ideas for a new music program in Wyndham,” Platform co-producer and MC Damon ‘Nomad’ Paraha said.
Co-producer and songwriter Isaiah ‘Sire’ Faamoe added: “We’re keen to hear about the kinds of artists that inspire you, what music you're listening to, and what you’re interested in knowing more about, and who you would want to work with.”
The free event will also include food and prizes.
