Emerge In The West Returns To Footscray This June

Emerge In The West will come back to Footscray next month, with a collection of the western suburbs' emerging talents in music, art, fashion, dance and spoken word.

Presented by Multicultural Arts Victoria in partnership with Maribyrnong City Council Festival City Program, Emerge In The West will feature an extended craft market, special offers from local traders and a range of entertainment spread across three stages.

Among the many acts and artists to hit the stage at the event on 4 June. will be afro beats by Alariiya, percussion and dance from the Asanti Dance Theatre, and a massive finale featuring Melbourne-based Ethio-jazz maestros JAzmaris and Nhatty Man, with his new band Gara, Seble Girma and the iconic Bitsat Seyoum.
