Elton John Finally Adds A Vic Show To Aus Tour

At last, UK superstar Elton John has added a Victorian date to his upcoming Australian tour.

With his Once In A Lifetime tour set to kick off in Australia in late-September, John has been announced as headliner for an October 1 A Day On The Green event.

John will be joined at Rochford Wines by Queensland's Busby Marou and Melbourne singer-songwriter Chris Watts.

Tour promoter Michael Chugg today explained that demand for tickets to the already-announced dates was "too great to ignore".

Chugg stated: "The response when we went on sale was over the top. A lot of people from the southern states did not get a chance to buy trips to Cairns or Mackay before the shows sold out.

"So when Elton asked to do a Victorian show we thought A Day On The Green was the perfect fit."

Tickets for the newly announced show go on sale at 10am, Monday 14 August (scroll down for gig details).
