'Deeply Embedded Oral Tradition Is In Our DNA': Vika & Linda Are Stronger Than Ever On 'Where Do You Come From?'

Ellington hit the road

Forming in 2006, Brisbane-based pop duo Ellington have achieved in two years what most bands spend a lifetime trying to attain. Having released their debut EP “The Joy We Keep In” to a fantastic local response, the songwriting team that is Jake Bosci and Michael Beatson set about piecing together a collection of tunes worthy of a trip to the US, the end result being the Matt Malpass (Copeland, Lydia) produced “More Like A Movie, Less Like Real Life”. Featuring guest appearances from Matthew Thiessen (Relient K) and Jeff Turner (Say Anything), the six-track effort shows just how far these kids have come.
