Well, that's a bummer.
US singer and Bluesfest 2016 act Elle King has called off her Sydney sideshow just hours before her she was set to hit the stage tonight at the Metro Theatre.
A statement from the 26-year-old songwriter advises that the show has been cancelled due to illness.
See the full statement below.
"Dearest Sydney friends, It breaks my heart to say that I am unable to sing tonight at my show. I travelled all the way to Sydney, but regardless of my efforts to rest, it seems my voice has left the building.

"I promise you I will play another show as soon as I can. Australia has been absolutely beautiful and kind to me on my first visit here. There is nothing I would rather do than play tonight and get rowdy with you all, but I am forced to do what's best for my health.
"I truly hope you can understand. From the bottom of my heart, I am sincerely sorry. Trust me, no one is as bummed as I am."
All ticket holders for King's performance tonight will automatically receive a refund from Ticketek. Any additional questions should be directed to point of purchase.
King is expected to be fit for her performances at Bluesfest tomorrow and Saturday.
