Electronic Muso Yahtzel Signs With ODESZA's Foreign Family Collective Ahead Of Tour

The Aussie artist has also just unveiled new single 'Someone Else' ft. Savoi.

Australian electronic whiz Yahtzel is about to be a very busy man indeed, locking down a 12-date tour of Australia in conjunction with the news he's newly signed to ODESZA's Foreign Family Collective to release his new single.

That tune, Someone Else, features the talents of Brisbane vocalist Savoi, and marks both a departure from, and organic growth of, the acclaimed artist's existing work, through which he's been buoyed to renown as one half (with L D R U) of dance doyens Carmada.

He joins an existing array of acclaimed talent under the Canadian label's purview, which includes the likes of Jai Wolf, Big Wild, Golden Features and Australia's own RÜFÜS.

Yahtzel will be touting the new song on his upcoming run of shows, which includes a quick detour to New Zealand to play a string of gigs before resuming for the back end of the tour.

He'll kick off at Adelaide's Fat Controller tomorrow, 26 August, before hitting Brisbane, Newcastle and the Central Coast ahead of his shot across the ditch. On his return, on Friday 22 September, he heads to Canberra's Academy.

From there, he blitzes through Coffs Harbour, Melbourne, Moruya, Townsville, Perth and Sydney, where he wraps the considerable jaunt with a final show at the Hudson Ballroom on Thursday 12 October.

Give Someone Else (ft. Savoi) a listen below, and head to theGuide for full details on the tour.
