Ed Sheeran’s Long-awaited ‘Simpsons’ Cameo Is Almost Here

Dominating charts and ticket sales across the globe, UK superstar Ed Sheeran will infiltrate the realm of animation this weekend as he appears on The Simpsons.

A teaser released by FOX shows Sheeran jamming with Lisa Simpson in an episode entitled Haw-Haw Land, which will air in the US on Sunday.

He’ll play “Brendan”, an older musician that Lisa becomes “smitten” with. The season 29 episode will also feature an appearance from George Takei.

It’s the first we’ve heard about the episode since Sheeran made the announcement back in July and his trip to Springfield will be added to other acting credits, including his polarising appearance on Game Of Thrones in 2017.
