Luke Combs shocked the sold-out crowd at London's O2 Arena as part of the Country 2 Country (C2C) Festival with a surprise duet with bona fide superstar, Ed Sheeran.
While Combs was performing on Sunday, March 13, Sheeran showed up to join him on a version of his smash hit Dive, which appears on Sheeran's third studio album, ÷ (Divide).
The country star captioned on social media, "Covered Dive countless times, but this was by far the coolest! Thanks to my buddy @edsheeran for joining me on stage in London!!"

"Boys, I don't know how we follow that," laughed Combs after Sheeran walked off stage.
Combs had previously covered Sheeran’s Dive during concerts of his own, and later released a recorded cover as a Spotify Originals Exclusive in 2018.
He also recently revealed in an interview with Absolute Radio Country, that he and Sheeran had been trying to set up a writing session prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Combs shared, “We hung out last time I was [in the UK] but he wasn’t on an album cycle that time. I think he is doing like 55 stadiums just in Europe, that’s just part of the tour… I’m definitely going to shoot him an email and see if he is around … he is a great man.”
Combs added, “We were going to [write together] but the COVID thing screwed our whole plans up on that but maybe one day, hopefully one day.”
Combs is currently working on his third studio album, which is expected to be released later this year. He and his wife Nicole are also expecting their first child, a boy, in spring (our autumn).
Sheeran previously teamed up with Keith Urban and Amy Shark on the smash hit, Love Songs Ain’t For Us, off Shark’s album Cry Forever. Sheeran co-wrote the track, which claimed the number one position on the Countrytown Hot 50 country airplay chart for multiple weeks.
