Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, David Tennant and a bunch of other well-known actors star in Disney's impending revival series

It's been known for a little while that Disney has been eyeing off a reboot/revival/whatever-you-want-to-call-it of its beloved animated series DuckTales, but now we're starting to see some concrete details as to who will be lending their voices to the updated cast — and, damn, has the roster shaped up brilliantly.

The animation juggernaut has thrown out a wide net in casting its new take on the characters of McDuck Manor and the surrounding town of Duckburg, nabbing high-profile comedic talent including Danny Pudi (Community), Ben Schwartz (Parks & Recreation) and Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) — as the central trio of Huey, Duey and Louie, respectively — as well as fellow SNL player Beck Bennett (Launchpad McQuack), Castle's Toks Olagundoye (Mrs. Beakley), Raising Hope and Scrubs alumnus Kate Micucci (Webby Vanderquack), and former Doctor Who star David Tennant as none other than Scrooge McDuck himself.

We guess it wouldn't be a Disney casting announcement without someone inevitably breaking into song, so please enjoy this video of your new Scrooge & Co. busting out the iconic theme song to this beloved cartoon, the reboot for which will very hopefully not suck. Come on, though — given this cast, they'd have to try pretty dang hard to fail.

DuckTales is set to premiere on Disney XD channels in 2017, with the first season set to run for 21 half-hour episodes along with two one-hour specials. According to promotional material, several other characters from the original series — which ran from 1987 to 1990 and left a box-office bomb of a feature film in its wake — are scheduled to appear, including Donald Duck, Gyro Gearloose, Flintheart Glomgold, Ma Beagle & The Beagle Boys, Duckworth the butler and more.
