Dua Lipa Announces 'Radical Optimism' Pop-Up Store Ahead Of Sold-Out Australian Tour

English pop star Dua Lipa is heading back to Australia this month, playing sold-out shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

To celebrate the impending tour, the New Rules singer has announced a special pop-up store in Melbourne where fans can shop all things Radical Optimism.

Released last year, her third album is a collaborative effort featuring Australia’s own Kevin Parker (Tame Impala). Radical Optimism saw Lipa embrace further disco elements she introduced on 2020’s Future Nostalgia. She also took her songs to massive world stages, headlining the UK’s iconic Glastonbury festival in 2024.

The Radical Optimism pop-up store will open on Monday, 17 March, and will remain open until Sunday, 23 March. Lipa will perform five sold-out shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena next week. She will then play three sold-out shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena. You can find all her tour dates below.

The pop-up store will offer fans an immersive experience. They can purchase exclusive merchandise and participate in special photo moments, including a lyrics booth where they can take a photo surrounded by the lyrics to their favourite Dua Lipa song.

Open from 10 am until 6 pm next week, the pop-up store can be found at Hawker CBD, 362 Little Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. 

Last week, it was announced that Australian singer-songwriter Kita Alexander would be the special guest on Lipa’s upcoming tour.

Explaining the inspiration behind Radical Optimism, Lipa said that a friend introduced her to the term, and the concept resonated with her.

She added, “I became more curious as I started to play with it and weave it into my life. It struck me — the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm.”
