Drowning Pool Announce First Ever Australian Headline Tour

Following their appearance at the 2002 Big Day Out festival, US heavy metal outfit Drowning Pool have confirmed they will be finally be heading back to Australia this July for their first ever headline tour.

Kicking off the long-awaited tour with a one-off show in Auckland, the Dallas-founded band will perform in Adelaide at The Gov (26 July), Brisbane's Max Watt's (28 July), Sydney's Manning Bar (29 July), Max Watt's in Melbourne (30 July) and finally at Perth's Capitol (31 July).

The tour comes in support of Drowning Pool's sixth studio album, Hellelujah and the line-up will feature original members CJ Pierce, Stevie Benton and Mike Luce, as well as Jasen Moreno on vocals, who joined the band in 2012.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale on Tuesday 5 April, before they are available for the general public from 9am on Thursday 7 April.
